I like to eat.
So I thought I’d make a completely subjective list of my favorite places to eat in New York.  These are places that I would (and do!) come back to again and again (wallet permitting, in the case of Gramercy Tavern). 1. I die!
I am in desperate need of a vacation, but I am biding my time with the knowledge that spring is well on its way.  I am saving my pennies for a week at Casa Sagrada in Oaxaca.  How cute are those rooms?  And, to top it off, they have cooking classes and tours of the local markets!

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Enoteca Maria:  Because of a Staten Island Ferry incident, it took nearly 3 hours to get there from our aparment in Brooklyn, but so worth it.  6 Italian grandmothers from different regions of Italy take turns planning the menu and cooking for the evening.  Adelina from Napoli was our grandmother for the night, and she hooked it up!
